Lake and Mountain Home offers the finest rustic round wood dining tables around. Regardless of whether you order a round rustic table with legs or a round pedestal table with a fluted base, reclaimed wood tables have remarkable flexibility to appeal to the most casual diner or those who prefer to dine in a more elegant fashion.

We offer oval and round pedestal tables in any standard or custom size in the reclaimed wood . Old pine wood, old oak and old chestnut wood is available for any of our round rustic tables or other pieces in our reclaimed furniture line. While most people prefer a pedestal base on a round table, you also have the choice of turned, tapered, or cabriole leg style. The crown pedestal and the fluted pedestal are our largest pedestals and are best suited for tables 42”-72” in diameter. The empire and pine pedestals are a bit smaller and best accommodate tables 38”-60” in diameter. Finished height on a 2” thick round pedestal table will be in the proximity of 31” high while a 1” table will have a finished height of approximately 30”. Any of these pedestals are excellent choices for oval or square tables as well.

From the Barns of our American History

In the 19th and 20th century, lush woods were cut from forests in America to make a variety of different barns that housed and accommodated American agriculture and the industrial revolution.  In those times, veneers, laminates, MDF, particle board, and all of the poor quality materials that are commonly used by the furniture industry today, fortunately, did not exist.  Instead, these barns were built with rich beautiful lumber from Pine, Oak, and Chestnut trees.  Over time, the wood from these structures aged and laid down a beautiful tapestry of unique character, texture and tone which now, a century later, is being brought back to life in the form of American rich furniture.  (You can’t walk into home improvement store and find fine wood like this, nor can you find lumber like this in your traditional furniture store).   This is the result of a partnership between father time and mother nature, that stood back and watched American history unfold.

The Value of Reclaimed Wood

We recognize the beauty of this reclaimed century-old historic wood as well as the ecological value we offer our planet in reusing this resource. Implementing this rich lumber from yesteryears barns make our products fit beautifully into any decor while enabling you to own a genuine piece of American history. (Imagine the stories if this lumber could talk!) Together, with this re-sourced lumber, our rich designs, our commitment to quality, and our meticulous attention to detail, we create furniture products that not only change your home into a more inviting place, but one that will also draw in your friends and family. Our pieces are built to stand the test of time, and such you can expect them to be passed on from one generation to the next.

Reclaimed Wooden Dining Tables and Custom Farmhouse Tables are our Forte!

Whether you live in an 18th century antique or a modern contemporary home, rustic farm tables and antique kitchen furniture are excellent choices for warming up any environment. Whether you are a casual diner or prefer to dine in a more elegant fashion, our reclaimed wood farm tables have remarkable flexibility to appeal to both.

We Can Customize It

Furniture has long been known to set the stage for what you want your home to look and feel like the moment you walk in.    For everyone that might mean something a bit different so it’s important to pay close attention to the small details that will make the difference. At LakeandMountainHome.com, we do just that, by offering custom options such as wood texture, color, and wood type in order for you to achieve just the look you are going after.  Ever notice that some homes feel good just walking in?  It’s all in the details, so pay attention to them!

Just as importantly, make sure the piece fits properly in your space!  We don’t think you should have to settle for the dimensions of a cabinet or table that may “sort of” fit. You wouldn’t buy a shirt that’s the wrong size, why do that with furniture?  We believe that the best dimensions for your furniture, are the dimensions you need .  Our talented craftsmen will hand select century old boards that best fit your preferences and will build a truly unique table specifically for just for you- no one else.
